END. (and beginning)

As you probably noticed, the news have reduced over here, mostly because of my time-consuming new job. I've been considering closing the site since last year, but now I've decided to take a different approach. While I probably won't update as often as before (but I will try!), now you'll find me in this wordpress blog, Mognet Central. It will be the same you can see here, so don't worry. And being a blog it will be easier to update for me, and easier to browse to you all, since it has an RSS feed, the major thing this site was lacking. So see you there! And thanks for following my humble posts so far. And thanks a lot to the Guardcrush webmaster for the hosting, I really liked to have a site with a layout I created, as simple as it was.

The Final Fantasy XIII website opened a couple of days ago, if you're wondering about the artworks on it, you can download them here, here and here. I still don't know what to think of the designs and names, a bit too bland.

Capcom announced an awesome figure set for Sengoku Basara.

G.Rev's website has a Mamoru-kun new year image on its top page, since these are up for a limited time, I've mirrored that and the christmas one in here and here.

SD figures of Doronjo and her henchmen (from Yatterman) are coming out in March.

Next week is a nice one for comic book fans, since finally a new issue of the wonderful Patsy Walker: Hellcat is coming out (preview), as well as more Daredevil (preview) and Runaways (preview), always two solid titles.

And Jilpoong17 has another Sayaka cosplay fanart, this time as Kintam Robo from Crayon Shinchan.

CBR has the Marvel Comics solicitations for March (in my opinion the highlights still are Agents of Atlas, Uncanny X-Men and Daredevil), as well as an interview, with Uncanny X-Men's artist Terry Dodson. Issue 505 came out this week and was really interesting.

A nice Yoko (Gurren Lagann) figure comes out in April.

Eternal Knights 2, an arcade-based board game by Konami, includes Castlevania's Shanoa as a guest, and you can see in this article (her artwork here).

The highlights for the DC Comics solicitations for March are an expensive Zatanna figure, and a reedition of the Witching Hour TP, a very nice story that you should check. Also, lovely cover for Madame Xanadu.

There is a nice promotional movie (both for streaming and download) in the 7th Dragon website. It amuses me that one of the character jobs is "princess" (and note how instead male/female versions there seem to be nice/evil ones). Please Sega don't ruin this one.

While checking the developers blog of the recent Final Fantasy IV remake for Nintendo DS, noticed this lovely render of everybody's favorite summonner Rydia, showing what's under the outer layer of her regular dress. You can check the very nice game opening in here if you missed it, note the download link on the right.

Download of the day: some scans of the Queen's Gate artbook featuring Mai Shiranui. Enjoy it, because for the look of it, she won't be in the new KOF.

This Princess Crown (Saturn, PSP) card is just awesome. Couldn't find a better scan sadly. If you're wondering, that's the protagonist, Gradriel, and her evil side, that she fights as you can see here. Also don't miss this fanservicey battle against Necro Samantha.

Since Secret Invasion has finished, Marvel Comics has released the solicitations for the upcoming related titles. Mentioning them mostly for the return of the Agents of Atlas, one of the best comics of late (but with a new creative team so we should wait and see) and for the presence of Emma Frost in the "Illuminaughty" (and the nice portraits of her in this and this cover).

So Madelyne Pryor is back to the X-Men so let's visit some related fanarts: This sexy one was drawn by Corin Wentworth, who has some wonderful drawings in her gallery. This cool one was drawn by Marcio Takara, who also has a ton of comic book on his. And last, this great one by Matthew Humpreys, who also has been doing some other X-Men fanarts lately.

A new Morrigan wallpaper is up at ARK's site, for succubi nurse fans.

And Jilpoong17 has another Sayaka fanart cosplaying as the Tranformers Animated version of Blackarachnia.

The artwork for Blade Chronicle - Samurai Online (upcoming MMORPG for PCs) is very cool. Artist name: Chinathu Kurahana.

An (expensive!) figure of Dark Eclair from La Puccelle is coming out in March, for the wealthy fans of Nippon1. She is a great character (an homage to evil Gradriel from Princess Crown), and the figure is nice, but it doesn't seems worth 9000 yen.

For the ones with a Pixiv account, remember that cool Lujei Piche drawing? Well, here's another. Who is she you ask? Shame on you, one of the greatest videogame characters. :)

The remaining cast for The King of Fighters XII (Arcade) was revealed some days ago.... and now the gaem barely has any girl. REALLY dissapointing.

Yet they still try to make more and more cellphone money from Days of Memories, I don't get it.

Forgot to mention it, but last week's Body Bags One-Shot special was really good as well. And it really lives up to the "one-shot" name.

The talented Kenneth Rocafort is drawing a Wolverine/Punisher story for the Marvel online comic service, and he has been confirmed to be back for the second Madame Mirage miniseries.
