Game Okami
Stylish, fun and unique, Clover Studios tweaked the succesful Zelda
formula giving the game a revolutionary appearance. Great story,
characters and music, Playstation 2 owners shouldn't miss this game. |

Anime Top wo Nerae 2!
Spectacular, dramatic, with unexpected story twists, the second and last
year of the OVA series shows that Gainax still understands why we like
anime. Daring and experimental for moments, a breath of fresh air in an
age filled with lots of anime series that look the same. |

Best
Comic Book X-Factor
While the art in the series had problems, with too many different
artists, and not all too good, the excellent writing of Peter David overcame
all of them. Excellent character development, takes on big sagas
like Decimation and Civil War that actually make sense, and a very well
done noir style, make it one of the best series coming out these days, and
a pleasant surprise. |

Artist Kozue Amano
Her extremely cute and ellegant artwork improves with each new volume of
Aria, with beautiful characters and splendid backgrounds. While her three
artbooks are nice, I consider her black and white art on the manga to be
the best of hers. |

Heroine Masane Amaha (Witchblade)
Strangely, considering the regular anime characters, the japanese take on
Witchblade stars an older (by anime standards) woman, and not only that,
but a mother too. Add a quite fun personality, an amusing relationship
with her daughter and an extremely fanservicey transformation, and
she's an obvious choice. |

Best
Villainess Diva (Blood+)
Insane, childish and spoiled, she manages to fit the villain role quite
well. Even when she did evil and disturbing things during the series, she
manages to remain amusing, and even cute . One of the best things in a
somewhat flawed series. |

Best
Meganekko Ms. Longueville (Zero no
Tsukaima)
Even with her middle series change that I won't spoil, she kept being an
interesting character, and a great meganekko. |

Mecha Aegis (Persona 3)
Unsurprisingly the robot girl from Persona 3 became an instant hit among
fans, and is getting more focus on the upcoming Persona 3 FES. |
